Let me start by saying, I did a search on the site and looked through the plethera of threads but didn't find much as far as definitive answers so I will post the question as I am sure others are wondering or will wonder. As of 2010, what shoes did you guys use to build your trooper boots? I have heard a ton of people say that used such and such but that those shoes are no longer made so I need to find a relativly inexpensive shoe to use as the starting point of my boots. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Is there a step by step tutorial somewhere that demonstrated how to apply the vinyl to the shoes?
